Ivana did what anybody would do when they do not get the answers they need. They go right to the source. The source with the most reliable answers and information. In doing so she sypathized the most with those in shelters because they were bound by primairily hope and faith which were the same values which allowed Ivana and her family to leave ongoing war in Bosnia. Thanks to Ivana being able to relate to these people, it gave them a chance to express themselves without feeling judged or embaressed due to their situations. This was a very good read which I like to read because of the emotions and the sense of togetherness brought in by the fact that Ivana understood what these people were going through.
